Gerina-Piller
She was born on March 29th, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her name at birth. Gerina Stevenson, the child of Mexican grandparents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. She is of Mexican-American heritage as well as an American of citizenship. Since the age of a child, she's always had a keen interest in playing sporting activities. Gerina started to play golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina finished her High School studies during her time at Goddard High School. When she was in the high school level, she was able to win an award at the New Mexico state golf tournament. A volleyball player, she participated in state championships. The year 2003 was the time she entered the University of Texas. In her senior year, she was a winner in every tournament she participated. While in her undergrad years, she was awarded an individual award by the Conference USA for player of year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic Champion of Year.
