Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film typically in the martial arts or horror genre. The style is similar to The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and a morbid enjoyment of these films. The reviewer began her journey in the latter half of 2009 and after gaining some notoriety on the forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. Beginning in early 2015, she stayed on the channel while Obscurus Lupa Presents changed to Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are as well as a show that covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started reviewing films, which gained her acclaim on Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome forums. She joined the group of film critics. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was once a member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear on the show Nostalgia Critic.
