Julie Chen Moonves, who was one of the initial hosts and moderators on The Talk (a Daytime Emmy Award winner talk show), returned to host The Talk on August 5th for its 22nd season. Then it was when she started writing that her true passion was revealed. Hosting an outstanding entertainment talk show earned her an additional Emmy. The show was hosted by her co-hosts CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 between 2002 and 2010. Before that she was the CBS Morning News anchor and hosts for The Early Show. After 9/11 she went to Cairo for an informative and eye-opening interview. While completing her last academic year at the university, she worked as an assistant for ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) and was producer for ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news program). Chen Moonves collaborated with Koppel in the production of the award-winning Columbia du-Pont documentary Anatomy of a Riot which was a look at events surrounding the Los Angeles riots of '92.
